I don't have a huge amount of time at present. But here are just a few of the photos. You'll see a dead rat, garbage galore, unsafe work being done with nails sticking out of boards and not a strip of safety tape in sight...and so much more.
These are from my phone's camera. I have to download the photos from my STILL camera, and then get my videos uploaded to YouTube.
I don't have a lot of free time, but when I can't sleep or eat due to living in an apartment with RATS, my free time kinda opens up.
Here's a rat I got to chase down and kill after it defacated on my countertops and stove.
| Note any safety tape? I stepped on a nail back here. |
| This kind of trash is constantly in common areas. |
| This trash had been sitting here for over a week. |
| Do you see any safety tape? Philip from the landlord said there was. He guaranteed it. And he was rude about it. |
| See what safe people these are? Wait till you see the guy & the ladder. |
| Nothing beats getting up in the morning to see trash every morning. |
Yeah, trash is just out in the common areas all the time. And it stays there.
Nobody walks the property daily. NOBODY. |
This was left unattended when the company without a name or contact number had their workers go to lunch.
Seem safe, those of you with children? |
Does this look safe to you? Note the entryway. Those are two
ladders there. No safety tape AGAIN. No warning for residents. |
Just some nice things outside my door. As usual. I get to pick up
garbage lest the apartment complex bill ME for trash. Or try to. |
| Just more of the constant trash. |
| Closeup on the trash. It's always something different. Every day unique like a snowflake. |
Ah, yes, the rats. I didn't find out there was a problem in the building till I killed one.
Why they didn't tell everybody when the INFESTATION started is a mystery.
I guess they figured the rat droppings and urine on our stovetops would alert us.
And who'd want to put traps down BEFOREHAND, anyway? |
| Just more work with no safety tape. |
Note the ladder to the right. See anything blocking the way for residents?
Any warning? Nope. A nail through the foot serves as a warning. |
| This thing sat in the yard for days. Just a power cable, a power cutter, and a drain spout. |
I have video of this. Just some workers ripping boards with nails out.
No safety tape. No warning. No name of company. No phone number.
No speak-a English, either. |
This looks really safe, doesn't it?
How'd you like to be the owner of that green car on the left as that board comes off the van? |
Just more crap out festering in the common living area.
Big mystery how they get RATS infesting this building, ain't it? |
| Just the trail of trash from a different angle. |
See any safety tape? NOPE.
Phil Quintero(?) of Michael Stevens Interests rudely told me to my face that
the angelic workers would NEVER do such a thing.
Imagine being a resident coming out of the building through the opening
Just to the left of that bush and having gravity bestow you with whatever
CRAP is being removed from the siding. Thanks, Philip. |
| Just more random trash. It's always there. NEVER is it clean. |
Safety tape, anyone? NOPE. Just dodge our ladders and
hope gravity is your friend, residents. |
The boards with nails didn't diminish. They just kept piling up.
See any safety tape? Nope. Just a resident with a nail hole in his
foot taking these pictures. Anyone seeing a connection? |
More guys who work for the mystery company.
No name. No phone number. No name of contact,
according to Cedar Bend Apartments. |
| Yep. More trash. Just festering in the sun for rat consumption. |
| Just more random trash. |
| More "mystery company" guys without any safety tape. |
| A day without some empty plastic bottles here is like a day without sunshine. |
Debris falling everywhere. No safety tape. No warning for residents.
Inside or out. |
They scrape debris off the side, you step on a nail.
You call the leasing office, and there's no name of company,
no phone number, and no name of contact they can give you.
Sound like they're on YOUR side? Sound like it's a legitimate
company using legal labor? |
| This just laid in the yard unattended. For a couple of days. |
More of the workers that Phil from Michael Stevens Interests told me would NEVER pull boards with nails
on them off the side of the building without safety tape. NEVER. |
This is during the infestation of the rats. This bottle with juice still in it has been here on these steps
FOR THREE WEEKS. Let's see how long it remains, shall we?
I went out of town for a week and it was still here when I got back.
And the office for Cedar Bend apparently believes rat infestation is a happenstance
event completely unconnected to their substandard maintenance & upkeep. |
Phil from Micheal Stevens Interests is VERY rude. A total ass.
He RUDELY assured me "his guys" were all true blue and safe, safe, safe.
If you tried to walk out of your apartment, would you feel safe walking out this way?
Would it make you feel safer if none of the workers spoke English?
They thought that "plead ignorant of English" tactic would work.
Nope. Yo habla Espanol. |
This was taken the day I stepped on the nail. Couldn't go through the front. Started around the side to get in via
the back. BAM! Nail in foot. Phil claimed there was safety tape. Do you see any? |
This just sat in the yard for a few days. Don't worry.
It's just a power cable with a power tool and some drainspout
that had been cut. See the cutter there?
Look like something maybe some kids would like to play with? |
I'm hoping this came from a dog.
Given the rat problem, though...
And with the way Cedar Bend is run?
Could be human. We don't know. |
| More of the safest work site in the history of mankind. |
This is the only exit with a sidewalk on my floor.
The other way has me walking into a brick wall.
Around the other side where there are nails that go through feet.
MORE TO COME. FROM MY STILL CAMERA.
And then the video of the workers. Let's not forget that. |
